As a fully qualified Home Economist I develop, test and write recipes for a variety of clients – producing inspirational dishes that incorporate a passion for using fresh ingredients, local and seasonal produce.
Recipes are used to produce cook books, as well as literature to accompany a range of courses – curriculum based courses for children to teenagers; chalet courses and adult cookery courses.
I have carried out menu development for both independent cafes and larger companies, working up the complete offer to include product selection, recipe development, costings, range sampling presentations, menu production, recipe writing, food styling and photography.
Recipes are styled for dishes at photography shoots used in recipe books – for example, Paul Hollywoods 100 Great Breads – on recipe cards for a leading supermarket, and in professional training materials for use in the Hospitality industry.
